To ensure your Excel certificate uploads correctly to the EDIS system, please follow this crucial guideline.
When editing a certificate worksheet you’ve downloaded from EDIS, do not change the ‘Distribution Board Reference’.
This reference acts as a unique ID that links your Excel file to the correct record in the EDIS cloud system. If this reference is altered in the spreadsheet, it will no longer match the cloud record, and your upload will fail.
If you do nee to change the distribution board reference, then change it in the EDIS cloud so that it matches the reference in the EDIS Excel Workbook.
If you find that your Excel workbook won’t upload, the most common reason is a mismatched ‘Distribution Board Reference’.
Here’s how to fix it:
Check the ‘Distribution Board Reference’ in your Excel file.
Compare it to the reference for that same board in your EDIS cloud record.
Correct the reference in your Excel file so it exactly matches the one in the cloud.
Once they match, try uploading the file again.
