After reading this document you should be able to create and complete a Remedial Work Completion Certificate . This certify that you have completed the remedial works according to specification and to the BS7671 regulation

Creating and Completing the Remedial Completion certificate

Pre-Requisites to completing a Remedial Works Completion Certificate:

  • Access to the Building
  • Contractor user rights for the electrician doing the remedial work
  • Electrical Supervisor who will sign off the final certificate
  • There should be outstanding Actions Required which will be remediated as part of the work completed
  1. Login, select the Estate select the Building
  2. Click on the main menu Certificate menu option
  3. Click  Create and select Remedial Completion Certificate 

4. After the certificate has been created, you will see the fIve steps, Select the Step 1, Actions Required tab

6. Select the Actions Requires that are the subject of the Remedial Works

7. Remember to SAVE

8. The Remedial Work Certificate can now be edited:

  • If Distribution Board Circuits have been altered the Distribution Board can be added to the Certificate
  • Test results or changes to the circuits can be made
  • Any Comments or images associated with the Actions can be added 
  • Finally a PDF can be generated and reviewed, Pay special attention to Appendix 2, this lists the remedial works that have been remediated.

9.  Step 5 – the remedial certificate can be signed off: On completion of the sign off.  The Actions Required list and associated records will be updated.  The Actions will be closed and placed in the closed list of actions
