EDIS Compliance Management feature is now in a beta release. This EDIS Only Feature allows managers to identify untested circuits across estates with 100's buildings and 10'000's of circuits. The EDIS compliance manager provides a way to track compliance at a circuit level. This is important because electrical testers are often refused permission to shut down parts of an installation. This situation can go on for years and elements of an electrical installation may never be assessed. This does not comply with BS7671 or the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. The circuit level compliance planning provided by EDIS is an antidote to this problem.
Circuit level compliance is an electrical compliance management best practice that facilitates the duty of care required by the Electricity at Work Regulations. The feature provides a single view of all the circuits across an estate and allows users to filter across all buildings, boards and circuits to identify the boards and circuits that need testing. Using this information, a programme for the electrical testing work across the estate can be put in place. The programme will list the planned test date for buildings, building sections, boards and circuits.
This EDIS enhancement is available free to all EDIS subscribers and further differentiates EDIS service as the only enterprise solution for electrical inspection and testing.
